Our out-of-country homeowners wanted their new vacation home on the golf course to reflect their family’s casual lifestyle. We defined and elevated the open-concept spaces with color, textured wallpaper, and custom built-ins. The furniture selections kept practicality in mind, ensuring durability and comfort for many years. From cozy seating arrangements perfect for family gatherings to effortlessly stylish pieces that easily accommodate guests, the home is designed to be as functional as it is beautiful.

Our process is designed to keep things straightforward and stress-free, with just the right amount of fun along the way. From big-picture vision to the smallest styling details, we make sure your home doesn’t just look good—it feels like home. Here’s what you can expect from Amanda & Mark:
Our initial consultation has two main goals. First, we ensure that we’re a good fit for one another—an essential step in any successful project. Second, we define the overall scope of the project by learning more about your style preferences, home, and timeline. Once we have the information we will present you with our design fees.
We begin to develop a vision for your home through concept boards and mood shots. Initial furniture and material selections may be introduced early on, and honest open homeowner feedback is essential. This phase often overlaps with the next one.
With homeowner feedback, we curate the final selections of materials, furniture and fixtures. We incorporate furniture, lighting, and architectural elements into AutoCAD drawings. Elevations and various design detail drawings may be needed to communicate the design intent to subcontractors. We also begin shopping for accessories, artwork, bedding etc. the client purchases everything directly once finalized.
While we typically suggest the GCs and subcontractors, there are times a homeowner wants to use a specific vendor. If so, our communication is directly with the homeowner and the homeowner assumes responsibility for primary communications with that vendor. Once the team is assembled, we oversee progression of the work. We keep open and transparent communication among the team and homeowners through the duration of the project. Deliveries and installations are scheduled as we track various orders/purchases.
Prior to major deliveries, the spaces thoroughly cleaned. The designers will meet all deliveries as we oversee the placement of furniture, rugs and artwork. Your home comes to life as we add the finishing touches by styling with your curated accessories.
