Jill Brunson is a Sarasota native who earned a degree in interior design from the University of Florida (go Gators!). After college, Jill spent several years in Atlanta’s extremely competitive interior design market working for a prestigious national architectural firm. Jill focused her design talents on large scale commercial and health care projects. But Jill’s passion has always been residential home design.

Once back in Sarasota, Jill immediately realized that working in the high pressure corporate design world gave her an advantage in Sarasota and Manatee County’s residential design community. Her education and experience prepared her for the NCIDQ licensing exam and she is also a LEED accredited professional for green building design by the US Green Building Council. These credentials allow Jill to create, review, and make adjustments to the residential and commercial construction documents used by builders and contractors.

Jill’s favorite part of any commercial or residential design is seeing the elated reaction on her clients faces at the end of each project. “It’s the reason I do this,” says Brunson. “I believe that when someone is happy in their home, they’re happy in their life.”
